The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Going to the beach along the New Jersey shore the very common mode of transportation on the boardwalks was the "beach cruiser". A simple bicycle with wide tires that you could peddle in parts forever. In many town along the shore the boardwalks just ran together. You can't miss yellow.
